Comments and Responses

Below are responses to the “comments?” question of the evaluation.

Very interesting balance of personal accountability and effect of historical environment on behavior. Excellent speaker, very engaging, definitely keeps your attention and makes you think.

Valuable information that inspires commitment, change, and action. A very knowledgeable energetic speaker who is truly passionate about this subject. This should be required for every one of every age!

Really appreciate you taking a vanguard position in exposing the importance of the intergenerational residual effects of cultural trauma in a helpful way to everyone.

Very interesting. The concept of volunteer and time tithing a great thing.

I would like to see this being taught in churches and schools (teachers, parents, children). I am making a running list of people to contact to spread the word. Many people who need this message may not have the financial means to be educated in this way. Are they able to attend a retreat?

Most provocative content delivered in a very passionate way. I am left to analyze how I will go forth and make a difference! Thanks.

Wonderful presentation. Profound appreciation of “change agent” concept eg: self & community! (With Love).  Thank you so much.

This was a very important & clarifying workshop. I am very glad I attended.

Outstanding presenter and info.

I appreciate your message that slavery has had a profound impact on African American culture and that the trauma has had enduring negative effects. It is important to keep communicating this.

Very interesting. A lot to think about.

This seminar has helped me broaden my understanding of intercultural trauma for diverse groups of people including my own.

While especially powerful with respect to the impact of slavery on African Americans, individually and collectively, these are powerful notions for all cultures—intellectual honesty, understanding one’s history, the impact of individual choices for generations to come.

Well prepared, well delivered, passionately expressed; EXCELLENT.

Profound
